Dr. Beverly Rice

 

Dr Beverly Rice earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas in 2007.  She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree with a Major in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry from the University of North Texas in Denton, TX.  Prior to becoming a Dentist she taught Physics as a teacher at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Magnet Highschool in Dallas Tx. 
Dr. Rice is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association (TDA) and Dallas County Dental Society (DCDS).  She has served on the Board of Directors for DCDS and as an Exhibit Chair for the Southwest Dental Conference.  She is an Alternate Delegate for the TDA House of Delegates.  Dr. Rice actively volunteers with Give Kids A Smile (GKAS) and Texas Mission of Mercy, recently with a focus on caring for our Veterans.  She has 10+ years of experience treating children and has completed numerous continuing education courses on Pediatrics and Oral Surgery for the General Dentist.  
Dr. Rice has a warm, interactive and caring bedside manner.  Specifically, focused on calming an anxious patient.  She uses humor and excellent communication skills to teach prevention of tooth decay and to reassure patients.  Dr. Rice is a proud Texas native originally from Fort Worth, TX.   She enjoys traveling and recently completed a mission trip to Ghana.  Locally, Dr. Rice works with a Non-Profit organization treating battered women and children.  A devoted Aunt of 9, when not spending time with family, she enjoys trying new foods, movies and doing most outdoor activities.
